How do I fix us?

Once upon a time,
There was you and me.
A girl and a boy, the two of us,
In an ordinary love story.

Both of us knew,
That fate was never against us.
We started as friends,
And eventually gained each other’s trust.

As days go by,
Our friendship becomes stronger.
The way your eyes fixed on mine,
It made me fall in love harder.

Who would have thought
We would be together?
In a love story,
That might live happily ever after.

But the thing between us
Had suddenly gone bitter.
Was it because of you, the wallflower?
Or was it because of me, the cheater?

In this ordinary love story,
we were once lovers.
Feeling the same incalculable love,
And now, it has withered.

Because of my fault,
We didn’t last.
But you’re still the one in my heart,
Tell me how do I fix us?

Eyes

His eyes were captivating 

Like the stars at night 

They perfectly flicker 

Even without the light. 

The warmth of his gaze 

Fills my mundane days 

And every time I look at them, 

words can't escape.

Sometimes I flinch 

Whenever he stares 

They're filled with temptation 

That I couldn't bear.

But here I am, 

Admiring his eyes 

Blinded by the thought 

That he will never love mine.
